In 2019, Ruo Fan released a covered version of 〈Shall We Leave〉 on multiple streaming platforms, topping KKBOX hourly and daily charts. Ruo Fan released her debut solo album 《Desire for Happiness》 in 2022 which topped the digital chart right after the release. A titled concert of the album was held in March 2023. In April 2023, Ruo Fan appeared as the cover artist of "Spotify EQUAL Taiwan" and won "Best Artist of Campus Popularity" at the Hito Music Awards.
