這張精選雙CD中，忠實記錄了Dylan從地下草根民謠代表人物，進而成為流行音樂史上最具代表性巨星之一的完整音樂歷程: 包括從1962年開始，從最初在紐約曼哈頓Greenwich Village的Gerde's Folk City表演時代開始、1963年在New York's Town Hall 與Carnegie Hall一鳴驚人的演出、與Joan Baez在1963年8月28日於華盛頓遊行中，在史頁上記下一筆的搭檔演出、1965-1966年間席捲歐陸的經典巡演、1964年與1965年間在Newport Folk音樂季之表演….等，可說是一張最完整收錄Dylan才華洋溢的珍貴LIVE選輯。
